The three levers left of the steering wheel controlling wipers (both front and rear) adjustment of the steering wheel, and cruise controls do not illuminate in the dark/evening. As a result, the driver is distracted from viewing the road ahead in an attempt to identify the needed actions for operation. The dealership states that my vehicle is made this way.
