AFTER RETURNING TO TENNESSEE TO PICK UP AUTO THAT WAS JUST REPAIRED AT THE COST OF $618.00 FOR REPLACING PLASTIC INTAKE MANIFOLD. WENT TO DRIVE CAR 2 DAYS LATER AND IT WOULD NOT CRANK OVER. HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO MECHANIC AND RECEIVED BAD NEWS THAT THE HEAD GASKET WAS BLOWN DUE TO THE PLASTIC INTAKE MANIFOLD WHICH I JUST HAD REPLACED. TO THIS DAY, I CAN NOT AFFORD TO GET MY CAR FROM THE SHOP BECAUSE I AM ON FIXED INCOME AND CAN NOT AFFORD THE BILL OF $1,108. I CONTACTED FORD IN DETROIT AND THEY TOLD ME "MY" PARTICULAR "VIN #" WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL IN 2006 WHICH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF.
