The contact owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Galant. The contact stated that her vehicle was repaired for a fuel system recall. She drove the vehicle a few days later and heard a ticking noise. She stopped the vehicle and found that the failure only occurs when the vehicle is not in motion. The dealer stated that nothing could be done and attempted to sell her another vehicle. The failure is considered a safety hazard. The NHTSA campaign id number was unknown. The failure and current mileages were 22,000.
