This car has had this problem since the first car wash. The rear hatch warning beeps. The vehicle has been in at least four times for the problem and probably four times for the supposed solution. Out of warranty and guess what the answer is now? You guessed it? Out of warranty, you will have to pay to get it fixed. I now have 105,000+ miles and still have the original problem.
Occasionally, the power door will not operate until sufficient time has passed (multiple hours).
I hope it's just an annoyance and not a safety factor, like the hatch will open if pushed and a grandchild will fall out.

Possible solution: Never have the car washed.
Rant: Awful cheap for a luxury vehicle.
