For about 3-weeks now, the battery intermittently will just die. I thought maybe it was the battery, but I just replaced the battery about a year and a half ago. I brought my vehicle to the Nissan service department and parked it in the drive through service bay. When I explained the issue at the service desk, they said they would take a look at it. When they went to start the vehicle, it was dead, right there in the service bay. They had to jump the vehicle to get it out of the bay to look at it. They told me it was a bit of a wait, so I went home and would come back. After 4-hours, I received a phone call that the battery and alternator tested fine and to come pick up the vehicle. I asked what the next course of action was, and the response I got was when the vehicle dies again, don't charge it, have it towed in.
As I started researching, this apparently is quite common on the Armadas. There is a voluntary campaign called POA050, which fixes the issue, but it is only applied to 2019 Armadas. I don't think the specific year is an isolated case, upon reading numerous complaints with varying years from 2018 and up. I am just tired of getting the run around, when clearly there is an issue and I am not the only one.
