After starting the car, drove about half a mile, stopped at a corner, then when I tried to accelerate, the car would not go above about 20 km/hr (12 mph). I put the accelerator pedal to the floor, and the car would not go faster. The car did not exceed 2500 rpm. After pulling over and stopping for about 10 seconds, I then tried to accelerate again, and the car was working properly. This has only happened one time.

I have also noticed that the car seems to occassionally lurch a bit when driving at a steady speed. And seems to get close to stalling on occassion when stopped at stop lights. It has never yet stalled though.

I take the car to the dealership tomorrow.
