While driving the vehicle my air bag light continued to flash. I called my dealership and informed them of the issue and they sated they needed to run diagnotics. After receiving the vehicle back the dealer stated it was a software update needed to the vehicle to comply with the air bag standard. I was charged $130 usd to be told there items needed an update.
Vehicle lost power while traveling in rush hour traffic. Engine was running but there was no response when stepping down on accelerator. This problem has occurred 3 times in the last three (3) weeks and at least a half-dozen times in the last two (2) months. This vehicle is a 2014 Nissan NV200 taxi S 2wd. This problem has been reported to my garage mechanics who are baffled and turned over to the dealership (koeppel Nissan, long island city, NY) who are also baffled. Both my garage mechanics and the service people at koeppel state this appears to be an ongoing and troublesome problem fleet wide with this model but Nissan has yet either not completely acknowledged the problem or developed an adequate fix.
