I bought new light bulbs for the headlights. First the left one was out, so I replaced that one. After that the right one went out. Now they are both out and I have to use my brights at night.

Dealership should cover this on recall. Service and Parts recognize this as a problem. When I took out the headlight to replace I saw the terminal was burned. This crap about corrosion is just not true. In NM we have a dry climate. The damage is not corrosion, it is heat damage. This connector is not made to withstand the heat of the headlamps. This is an extreme safety issue that in some cases can cause fires.

Are we going to wait until everyone has already paid thousands for the parts or until a few bad fires kill someone? My wife's headlight connector was literally smoking! Are the replacement parts same as the original parts? What fix will that be?
