I had gotten the G6 Dec 2010, had only made two payments on it. I was traveling to work 3/5/11. It was raining off and on however, was not at the time. I was traveling on the interstate (speed limit was 65) however, I was only doing 50. The dash board blinked LOW TRACTION and the worst was to come. The began skidding out of control. I was almost able to get the car straight but the wall stopped that. The impact was on the drivers front side and also back driver panel sending me across three lanes of traffic. The car was deemed a total loss due to the estimate for repairs including, cracked engine cradle, two bent pins for rear left tire, radiator, fender, hood, etc. After the fact Googled 2010 Pontiac G6 Hydroplaning and found a forum way at the bottom of the list which included Pontiac Solstice owners, Chevy Camaro, basically putting into a nutshell that small GM cars with these wide performance tires are prone to this. Most owners to the point of not driving the car in the rain or purchasing another car all together. Looking at getting another car, so long Pontiac and that's my AUTOBEEF.
