There is an open recall that is not being taken care of by the manufacture stating my truck engine will catch fire when parked. Seems to me they should fix this as soon as possible.
When decelerating at transmission shift point the engine will accelerate 200 to 500 rpm with no gas applied. The vehicle will lurch forward. Additional breaking is required to prevent possible incidents. Dealer say no codes so nothing they can do issue is repeatable.

DEF sensor malfunctions, threatening to limit vehicle to 5 mph or stop completely. This is because DEF fluid freezes in cold weather. Sensor reads that DEF tank is empty, even when it is full. I consider this a safety issue, as I could be stranded on the road in winter conditions or not have access to my vehicle in case of emergency. Google search shows that this is a significant issue affecting many people. Dealer said that the only solution is to put the vehicle in a heated garage for several days to defrost the DEF and allow the sensor to reset. They currently have a backlog of several weeks. And then what happens when you get it back" You hope it doesn't refreeze and strand you on the road somewhere"
