Forester X 2.5L

It starts to get loud at 30mph then gets worse from there. it sounds like a tornado on the sides of your car and something you want to try to fix but realize its a manufacturer defect that has not been fixed. I called my dealer to fix it. They claimed it would be $80 to fix one side and $260 to fix both sides. I will try to find a fix but until then ill use it to figure out how fast I'm going without looking down.

I expected better engineering. The cost for this should have been covered by Subaru because they did not design it very well.

Forester

Very annoying. Looks like the previous owner tried to fix it, and failed. Someday I'll find the money to fix it.

Forester 25X 2.5x V4

  • Automatic transmission

I just want to get the window seal on the lower part of the drivers window and the passenger window to alliviate this problem. The air noise is very loud especially on the drivers window. Otherwise, everything is fine and I really like the vehicle.
