On start, rpm suddenly increase to aprox 4500+ rpm, and there was a definite metal grinding noise like the engine was tearing itself apart. Turned off ignition, and restart was normal. Dealer found nothing wrong. Has not happened again, 4000 miles. During acceleration, transmission appeared to hunt for the correct gear.
happened only once so far. 4600 miles.
