How do control arm bushings fail so soon. The problem started around 40,000 miles but not to notable. Excessive tire wear on the outside of the front tires was the first indication. The dealer checked the suspension during the last oil change and didn't find it. The unresponsive steering was when I took it in for service and told them to check the bushings.
