I was driving on the interstate at about 70 MPH during the late afternoon on a mild day when I heard a loud BOOM along with the sound of shattering glass. I looked aound but all windows were intact. Then I realized I was hearing wind and the rattle of broken glass from above. Fortunately, my sunscreen was closed so glass didn't rain down on me while driving. I pulled over and found a large hole in the glass. I didn't see anything strike the vehicle. I went straight to a Toyota dealer. They quoted $997 for the repair and said it would take several days to get the parts. My insurnace company is paying for the repair less a deductable.
