Toyota has tried to reduce the cost of Etios by sacrificing the basic requirements of the design - The absence of weather gaskets on all doors makes it convenient for insects, cockroaches, ants, spiders and lizards to get inside the vehicle as soon as the door is opened. The interior area of the cabin trapped between the frame and door is always dirty even though the vehicle is clean from outside.
The vibrations and noise inside the passenger cabin also adds to the woes of the Etios customer.
The weather gaskets are also removed In Etios which makes the dust and dirt trapped in between the door and body and also make room for lizards, insects, cockroaches etc to get inside the door and body and they can easily enter inside as soon as the door is opened.
