crack inside the transmission unit Sir, I am using this vehicle for last 5 years without much complaints. I have done all vehicle maintenance services, timely, with your services station - Al Futtaim Motors (Al Futtaim Auto Mall) in Dubai. After the last service, which is done on 3-Nov-2016, I drove the car around 100 Kilometers. Suddenly a sound started coming from gear box area and stopped in the middle of the road. I had to literally pushed it out of the way. The car has been taken to the service station again by a recovery vehicle. The technicians could not recognise the problem at first. After a complete check-up, I have been informed the day later that there is a crack on the tooth of transmission unit. I have no idea how this has happened. Even they have not come across this type of a problem so far in dealing TOYOTA PRADO. The car was in perfect condition when I have given it for service. I request you to please inspect my vehicle which is currently located in the service station and provide me with a perfect reason and solution for this problem. I cannot afford this expensive replacement of the spare parts. I would rather go for an another vehicle. I doubt that there was a mishap during the service maintenance, but I would not like to jump into conclusions. Expecting your ardent reply. Thank You, Soney Elizabeth Jacob
