Bought the car used in February 2023. No problems that I was aware of. Had a slight smell of burnt popcorn when I got it. Serviced with oil and new filters one month ago. On 7/12/23, it was driven to Denver and began to struggle with power (assumed it was the up and down of mountain highways). Suddenly, there was an explosion, the car filled with thick smoke, and flames shot out from under the hood and sides of the car. There was no way to stop it or save it. 911 was called and the fire department came in a few minutes to extinguish flames. The vehicle is a total loss. Still no idea what happened.
