The ability of the radio to receive local stations was dramatically reduced when we dropped our satellite subscription. Our Prius used to receive the St. Louis FM stations without difficulty during the initial satellite radio trial period, but when we did not purchase a satellite radio subscription, the radio suddenly became unable to receive these stations. We are still able to receive the St. Louis FM stations on our other older vehicles, but not on our new Prius. I suspect this is an attempt to get people to renew so that the radio will work again. Does Toyota have a deal with XM- Sirus radio to split the subscription revenue?
