Drivers door making loud clunk when opening. Took to mechanic, needs to be welded. Seems like a common issue with this model.

The door check assembly has completely broken. At first I thought it was just the arm as the metal was torn at the joint. Went to fix it and found that the mount had also come off due to it being weak. I've seen that it has been problematic to other people as well.

The door check is what stops the door from swinging all the way open.
