We purchased our new 2015 Toyota Sienna Limited van in Dec 2015, and the creaks and noises began in about Feb 2016. First it was the passenger sliding door window seal collapsing into the door frame. This was fixed by the dealer only to leave the door sounding like an old wooden floor. The door area also had a loud clunking that was very hard to make it occur, but it had a mind of it's own. Stopping...clunk...moving along...clunk. This was very distracting and we felt unsafe letting anyone ride on that side. We brought it back to the dealers three times, and they tried to find the cause...removing all interior door panels...and the last time keeping the van for a week. We went to pick it up and they said they tightened the seat, and finally fixed it. Both the service manager went with a test drive with us, and sure enough...the clunk was still there! They both looked at each other and didn't know what to say.
This van is our 5th new Toyota, and we've seen the quality go down hill a bit. We've had other issues with the van in other areas, (transmission, charging system), so we are looking forward to trading this clunker for a non-Toyota vehicle!!
