This car has 2000 miles on it and VW only offered $ $4700 to purchase the car back, they say they want to only pay the trade in value and this is not fair, I did not cause this recall.

The car was sitting stationary in the on position. Noticed a burning smell. Looked under front of car and saw flames. Turned car off and went to safety. In minutes the front of the car was engulfed. The whole car burned and is a total loss.

I have a 2008 VW Beetle that has less than 40,000 miles on it. It will not pass smog; something about codes needing to be reset. I have taken the car to a highly rated repair shop and he spent hours talking to VW and bar. I picked up the car and called a VW dealership and spoke to a service rep. He told me just to driven the car and it will reset itself. Not true.

The passenger side window fell down and the dealer put a new regulator in it costing us $500, then the rear window on the passenger side fell down and that cost us $185 at the dealer, now the driver's window has fallen down and we are wondering if there is a recall on this problem. The 1st & 3rd time was stationary, the 2nd time we were in motion.

Rear suspension makes squeaking noise. Tire pressure indicator on after 2 hours of driving. Head lights too weak bulb for front or rear or reverse always needs replacement inside hand rest too weak design always break. VW service station too expensive and wants money only. 2)fix it yourself. Keep doing it till I cannot sell it. 3) fix it your self. Yes would like to have the manual so I can do it professional myself. 4)in little rock the North point service station is the worst VW station.they only want money even to fix or in inspect or find out what is at fault. Buying VW means do the repairing yourself. Parts too expensive.
