Ignition coil failed on my 2001 VW Gti VR6. This failure also trigged oxygen sensor, coolant sensor, maf sensor and ECU to fail. As mentioned above engine misfires, a flashing check engine light, reduced power and bucking are all symptoms of a failed ignition coil.
