Car will stutter and stall at highway speeds, really, really fun with my two children in the car on the highway, NOT! Had the wires, plugs and coil replaced, didn't help. Only does this in warm weather. My mechanic couldn't find the issue with it. Fuel pump recently replaced, replaced the engine coolant temp sensor. Could go on and on and on about how much money I've dumped into the car trying to fix this issue.

Looks like it might be time to replace. I need something safe and reliable. Not I'm going to strand you on the highway, hope the tractor trailers see you and can get around you in time, good luck you are on your own.

Cannot find any solution so far. Fuel filter changed. Turning into a major problem to diagnose. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. Engine light keeps coming on in hot weather also, for fuel temperature gauge. mechanic says this is also related to glow plug system, which was a major problem with the 2003 jetta TSI I had before this car, the sensor was broken and would always trigger the check engine light even with brand new glow plugs. Starting to think its time to sell, car becoming too expensive.
