definitely annoying
fuel system problem
BUDHA AUTOMOBILES PVT.LTD.,the volkswagen dealer from whom I purchased the car must but congratulated for turning stonedeaf to any complaint;God knows how on earth the volkswagen people find such lousy scoundrel dealers of their cars or are they hands in glove. It has been 6 months for the first complaint of mine, they have yet to attend to it.

fuel economy computer shows higher mpg than actual
I have had SAAB's and BMW's over the years and the MPG computers on these vehicles were within 1 to 2 MPG of the actual MPG.
My Jetta TDI's MPG computer shows between 4 to 10 MPG higher than it actually is. The better the mileage shown the more inaccurate the computer is. On a straight highway trip it shows 54 MPG but the actual is 44.
When I brought this up to the dealership, the response was that I am "lucky" because some Jetta TDI's are even more inaccurate. What Garbage!
Now I find out that VW also doctored the Jetta TDI computer system to pass the EPA testing. How much do you want to bet that they also rigged the MPG computer to fool their customers as well.
If you have a Jetta TDI, check your fuel mileage the old fashioned way against that the MPG computer is showing you. Chances are you will also get an unpleasant surprise.
