Ever since I purchased my vehicle one year ago, I noticed that my car has trouble starting. It is a push-to-start car, and sometimes it cuts off and I have to push the button to have it restart. It happens during all types of weather, and I've had the batter tested at the dealership and it was in good standing, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I've also had to replace the tires multiple times over this last one year of having the car. The first time I had to do that was literally within two weeks of buying the car. Furthermore, the range feature that gives you an automatic reading of the gas gauge is inaccurate. When I fill up the tank if sometimes reads over 300 miles, and then sometimes it reads over 400; and then when the gas is low and nearing empty, it notifies me at 30 miles left till empty but then rapidly drops to 15 or less by increments of 5.

I was traveling at 40 mph through a city street intersection. My car was T-boned on the driver's side with such force that my car was spun around almost 180 degrees. 80% of the impact was on the driver's rear door, 20% on the driver's door. The side airbags did not deploy, this included a car equipped with side/curtain airbags. I had issues previously with the windows properly working and had all components minus the electrical system replaced on the driver's door and a passenger door. There were a few other oddities at times with the electric system of the Jetta. Considering the force of the impact I suspect an electrical glitch with the sensors or some other problem that prevented the airbags from deploying. The damage was extensive enough that the car was totaled.

The rear brakes create a substantial residue that is noticeable over the side of the vehicle after each drive. The rear brakes sqeak and seem to be worn from the grinding sound yet the discs look fine. The brakes definitely are faulty and the vehicle only has 17K on it. I have also given gone through a tire and soon need to repair another one from side wall damage and it is at the same contact point that the wheels come to meet the outer tire. It is slicing into the tire because of how it lays on the tire. So these all may be related but the rear tires are not right. I have a 1.8 sel 17'alloy wheels with all/season tires. The sounds comenrandomly but not when breaking in an incline or from fast speeds.
