Driving the car when the dash starts flashing STOP STOP STOP. I was able to limp it to a nearby shop who fixed it same day. Shop owner said he sees these fail a lot and that the pump is made with plastic parts. He showed me the cracked pump when I came to pick it up saying "see, plastic! It's cheap. I replaced it with a metal one."
