About two months later the same problem occurred and this time they replaced the entire throttle body assembly for a cost of about $800. When I questioned the dealer about the problem, he told me that it was no longer under warranty and that the repair charge and repair itself was necessary and that there was nothing else they could do. The car had about 55,000 miles on the odometer and I felt that they did not do the job properly in the first place and that the repair work should have been completed under warranty. While my car is an early 2002 mild pressure turbo, I feel that current investigation should encompass other years because the problems is quite similar.
