This one really es me off! I started getting "Low Battery!" warnings when I'd try listening to the radio with the engine OFF. So because of the message, I bought a new battery! Got one on sale at Canadian Tire and paid $232 for it. The old one was an Interstate and I found it strange that it would have quit at this relatively low KM. The new one was fully charged, so it took a couple of weeks for the problem to recur, the Low Battery message.

As it turns out, it seems that a sensor in the negative cable to the battery would be the culprit. My mechanic found that the alternator works correctly and that the battery is indeed fully charged. I might return the cart to him for possible repair. But I might not have it done as I suspect the Volvo part will be over-priced, and I might just dump that Volvo in the near future. $10,000 down the drain! NOT HAPPY!
