This Crown Victoria has been a nightmare. Failures include, but not limited to gas shutoff switch, locks failed, window regulator switch failed, would not shift out of park, directionals failed, air bags failed twice, heater controls failed, defrost function failed, interior cabin temperature control failed, seat leather failed at less than 36,000 miles, engine cooling fan failed, rear differential failed, paint on hood failed, paint on driver rear door failed, electronic compass failed, floor/defrost air damper failed, remote mirror controls failed, and now the engine randomly shuts off when going down the highway creating severe safety hazard. Research on-line indicates many of these failures are common.
I have been contacting local Ford Dealer, and Ford Factory warranty branch, and the only thing that was covered by any warranty was the gas shutoff switch.
