I just have to build into my budget getting this car 2 new tires a year because the "performance" tires suck when going over ordinary potholes. Once I needed a new rim for $250, and that was a really pain.

When i first bought this car in sep of 05 it had new tires on it. about every year i have to replace about 2 of the tires not because the tread is worn too much but the sidewall of the tires blow out. Mechanics at 3 different places have said this is due to the tires being low profile tires and the heat that builds up in them. over many time of heating and cooling just causes them to blow out. This is probably not fords fault but just another problem to have to deal with on this car. its also very expensive.
