Windows And Sunroof Open When Car Is Turned Off
2011 Ford Fusion
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Fusion builds off the 2010's reputation. That's not a good thing.
The first thing that jumps out is the ridiculous amount of power steering complaints. It grinds, it squeals, and it eventually just fails.
And if losing power steering isn’t enough for you, how about a sudden loss of engine power? That combination is enough to achieve clunker status.

- Global Window Opening - see Nov 22, 2011 post It's a feature on newer Fusion and Taurus models that is listed in your owner's manual, although not commonly known. Great to cool down the car in the summer. It can be deactivated if you wish though.

I bought this car for my wife back in October or November of 2010. We have had this Ford Fusion in and out of the Ford service department where we bought the car at least 4 times with the promise each time of it being repaired. Earlier, it would be the front windows that would open randomly and the sun roof would go up whenever we would open the door getting in or getting out of the car. This last time they claimed to have deactivated the Global Window Opening and promised it would never take place again. Now, these things happen even after we have parked the car and gone in a store only to return and find the windows down and the sunroof up.
I now wonder if FORD does not mean Forever in the Repair Department!
