Rest of the car was in fairly decent shape - I had no idea until I noticed a noise coming from the back wheel - upon closer examination (had to pull the carpet back in the trunk) saw the wheel well had rotted out. Driver's side was as new, and the car has always been oiled every winter. End result - the spring resting on the tire. Best motor I've ever seen - cancer got it well before its time.
