The fuel gauge has become so unreliable we don't even use it anymore! Whenever we go anywhere, we always have to stop for gas on our way home... so we know we have gas. When the problem first happened, the car wouldn't start... even though the gas gauge said we had a quarter tank! It cost us $75 to find out we just needed gas! Since then, the accuracy has just gotten worse! It now runs out of gas when the gage is between 1/2 and 3/4 of a tank!

To add insult to injury, I can't find any information about the problem. I don't even know if there is a procedure to "Reset" the gas gauge or if there is an "Adjustment" for it! I used to like Pontiac's!
