I never got anything in the mail from the place I got my car from about ANY recalls...,,,, I just payed off the car loan... Not even 3 month go by and it starts with the water pump .. I replaced it... the thermostat, coolant kept going down... the gauge would be fine, about 200, then go up red light then back down... all in about 10 minutes.. I pulled over to check the coolant... start it back up,, A man said I had white smoke .. so I turned it off. Soooo mad...

my wife came home from work complaining of no heat, low coolant light on,a odd burning smell and a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust after dealing with many of these S*t BOX dexcooled 2.8 3.1 & 3.4 motors at my shop in the past i pulled the motor, tore it down to find not only a cracked intake but also a hair line crack in the block between the # 3 cylinder and the coolant passage well no more playing deal or no deal with dexcool 1 new cored block from miller machine a ton of parts from the crew at INDY AUTO PARTS ( Peabody MA ). and about 18 hours of down time at my shop you can't make any money on customers cars when yours is on the lift so all said and done i'm into the complete motor for about $1300.00 in parts alone dexcool cost me that and 2 days of not being able to get to customers cars about another $2,000 in loss wages so any reps from GM or dexcool out there want to let me know were you want me to send you a bill thanks S*T bags it's been fun

Car only 3 years old, coolant was low, dealer said intake manifold gasket had to be replaced, coolant was leaking into engine oil. Class action suit settlement from GM for dexcool problems only covers cars up to model year 2004. Thanks a lot GM.

I've had this car for three years and this is the second intake job it's had. Not to mention a problem with the water pump. The motor in the driver seat went out so it makes noises when the button is pressed. The window controls stall, I'v had better luck with my 1985 Toyota.
