Grand Prix 3.1L V6

  • 120,000 miles

The engine idles very high, aprox. 1500 rpm's. Tried a new throttle sensor, 4 of them some adjustable some not. Withe the adjustable ones I could get the idle rpm's down but then the idle is very low. No happy medium. When driving the car accelerates uncontrollably to the point that driver must keep foot on brake pedal to keep car at say 35 or 40 mph. I have not found the solution for this yet.
