They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. The contact stated that the paint on the hood of her vehicle abnormally chips. While driving approximately 50 mph, she noticed flames on the panel of the front driver's side window. She used a small bottle of water to douse the flames and smoke. Currently, all of the power windows are inoperative. The vehicle has not been inspected to determine the cause of the failures. The failure and current mileages were 70,000. I'm not sure on all dates of car problem's. carfax has all that information. It's been in the shop 6 times, now my service engine light has come on again. This will be the 7th time within 1 year. One thing was fixed 3 time's in same month, I beleave.the dealer ship in tx, said the dealer ship in il never fixed it the first 2 times.
