This is the second time replacing blower motor and resistor. It happened just out of warranty back in 2004.

The first two levels on my blower went out. It works on 3,4, & 5, but not on 1 or 2. It doesn't even make a noise at all, if you put it on 1 or 2 it's like it is on off. It's not too bad in the winter, because in Ohio, you usually have to have the heat or defrost on full blast anyway. My real problem is in the summer months, because on level 3 with the air conditioning on, I freeze my ass off. I have seen that some other people have had this problem, why is there not a recall????

I had just purchased this vehicle used and a week later the blower quit functioning on levels 1-3, I had it repaired before the higher blower levels would quit.

My car was barely out of warranty and they replaced a blower motor that was rusty and a resistor. How come after only a little over a year from being new.
