This was the second time the pump went. Unfortunately it was in the winter so I had to take it to a shop to be done. I got charged 56 bucks for the part and an hour worth of labour plus the 5 bucks for fluid when I had a bottle in my trunk!

First time this went, I had a friend buy and install the part. $40 was the discounted price. He had to remove the plastic from around the tire well in order to get to it.

This only cost $40 because I did it myself. Another safety defect in my line of complaints about this car. You have to remove the right wheel well cover and finesse the pump out to change it. This is very unsafe due to the fact that it quit right in the middle of winter -- and here in Chicago, salt tends to spray on the window and obliterate your vision -- something the washer fluid could have corrected.
