air bag did not deploy in collision

I was involved in an accident after I lost consciousness from an asthma attack. The car ended up in a ditch. I was told I was going between 45 and 55 mph. I was in a hospital in a coma for 2 days after the accident and I had a busted forehead, lip and my teeth were knocked out all because the airbag did not deploy. I feel that GM needs to be held more accountable for their product. I worked for GM for 17 years and took pride in my product but since I left it's as if no one cares anymore. I have always and will continue to buy GM products because I was born and raised in Flint, MI and support my union workers but having said that GM needs better quality assurance. I will end by saying Thank God I am alive.
