Navigation System had a DISC ERROR message at start up.. Cost to analyze at Acura was going to cost $95 to look at it! We cleaned the disc and re-inserted it and no fix.. Bought the updated disc for $100, and it didnt help.. SO we have a new NAV disc, but no player... Luckily the NAV system still operates the A/C and Audio.. But the MAP is not displayed.. Acura does not fix this item, they remove it and send it to Alpine for repair which takes a long time.. Recommended Fix is to buy a new/used DVD player online, should cost about 200$ and easily to fix yourself if you know how to use a screw driver!
