Immobilizer green key light will not go off. I have been troubleshooting and found corrosion in the PCM/ECM control unit that is under the center counsel. Salt-water soaked the carpeting and that corroded the frame of the unit and got inside and onto the circuit board. I checked for a recall and there is one for this model and year. It asked for the VIN # and it came back telling me it was included in the recall. My question is why other VIN# is covered for this problem but mine is not. Corrosion is corrosion and the cause is a saltwater soaked carpeting next to the drivers gas pedal. Car was stationary, private drive and city street
