The Audi dealership in Cherry Hill NJ charged for the diagnostic and never revealed the severity of the problem. They gave my wife a crankshaft sensor repair cost over $3000, without further explanation. Then they let her start and drive the car for a second opinion, knowing that this action will destroy the engine. Now they claim that she refused the repair, which is a blatant lie! After she drove 10mi, the timing chain must have skipped further and the engine is destroyed! Unacceptable treatment by these scumbags.

Volkswagen and Audi fraudulently sold certain model vehicles knowing that they had a hidden engine defect. In addition, the complaint asserts that VW and Audi knew about the defect, but did not issue a recall or pay for any repairs that occurred outside the warranty period.
