We have 3 black cars. One is a 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback that my sons drive as well as a 2009 chevy silverado pick up. They have less scratches than my Audi that only I drive. It is ridiculous how easy it scratches with a fingernail, a jacket, a light rub. I love the look of this car, but don't think I would buy an Audi again. The paint peeled on the grill and that was under warranty and fixed, but the body paint is horrible. The dealer tries to say its because it is black, but we have had many black cars and never have they scratched so easily. You can't even slide the groceries out of the back because the bumper will scratch and the scratches under the door handles were visible after 2 months of owning the car. Again, our two other black cars which are much older are less scratched than the Q5. I have to get it hand washed and dried because if any type of car wash touches it, it has more scratches. Also, water leaks out of the crevices for hours after a car wash even when they blow them out. Poor design. They got the look right, but the ergonomics and cosmetics are poor!
