2000 Audi Tt problems with the instrument cluster. Consumer states that problem has caused problems with the performance and safety of this vehicle. Consumer says the gauge cluster is the problem. The consumer stated he went out to start the vehicle and everything on the instrument cluster had ceased including the speedometer, RPM gauge, odometer, gas gauge, temperature gauge and the liquid crystal display was not displaying readable information. The engine belt failed due to bent valves and the seat valves being damage.
I had a timing belt failure at 80K which required most of my engine to be replaced. My complaint is, Audi maintenance did not recommend a timing belt change before 80K. I also have a problem with the environmental system and the rear suspension which is wearing the tires prematurely and, some of my gauges are not working.
