Warning messages for the exterior lighting system are displayed in the driver information cluster. The messages are sporadically displayed immediately after engine start. The headlights function correctly at all times. DTCs U112300 (Data bus, received error value), B121713 (Lamp for left dipped beam, interruption), U112300 (Data bus, received error value (symptom 13706046)), and U112300 (Data bus, received error value (symptom 13706047)) are stored. It is a software-related issue in in the headlamp range control module, J431 (address word 55). Updated software was introduced into series production.
