The air bag warning indicator and service transmission warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified and stated that there were no recalls addressing the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 80,000.

The dealer advised there was a programming error that could be repaired, but the repair was not covered under the contact's warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 40,000 and the current mileage was 45,000.
