- "SUBJECT Service Engine Soon Light (MIL) ""On"" with Lean Mixture Faults Stored. The Service Engine Soon light comes on with either or both of the following faults stored in the DME memory: z 118001 - Mixture control: Fuel-air mixture too lean z 118101 - Mixture control 2: Fuel-air mixture too lean Engine operation and performance are not affected. The DME fuel-air mixture diagnosis is too sensitive to slight engine manufacturing tolerances."
