I only had my Encore for 10 months and the batteries became unstable and needed to be replaced. The doors were locking and unlocking by themselves, the radio was acting all crazy, it felt like my car was possessed. The dealership said that is what happens when the battery goes out. They never said why such a new battery would go out so quickly which I find out later and will make a separate report on that.
