Car jerks when starting from stationery position, like at a traffic light. Took to dealership where car was purchased. Was put on analyzer. Per repair attendant, results showed no issues with transmission. Offered no explanation for jerking. Brother-in-law has 2007 LaCrosse that does the same thing.

When accelerating from a dead stop it feels like a tire is in a puddle of oil and then a violent jerk as if the tire in the oil suddenly got traction. Sometimes it jerks so hard that I pull over and check the upper front motor mounts to see if they're broken.
