68 y/o, retired, and disabled with my son living with me. I bought the used car in 2020. 51,000 miles on it when purchased. Now it has 62,000 miles. Mandatory 6 year loan, paid with two years on it. It started dripping oil from motor, I do have photos but can’t seem to upload them. Took car back to dealership, and was told estimate is 2,000 dollars to repair, 2 day job, no loaner car to give me (they used to have 4 loaners and are now down to 2 loaners), to replace the seal. Just finished paying off entire passenger headlight unit for 1,100 dollars. White dust all over interior of car since oil leak began. I assume we are breathing in this crap when riding in car.

For now, I'm checking oil weekly until I can afford to get it repaired.
